TreasureHunt has a fantastic audience. They are both loyal and highly relevant. Advertisers as well as classified users will benefit from this market.
In the end, the purpose of Treasure Hunt is to provide a safe and friendly marketplace to connect buyers, sellers and advertisers primarily in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.
72,000 Sessions Per Month
Users generally have 2 sessions and visit on average 10 pages per Session
For a small, highly local paper with no online advertising and quite frankly, terrible mobile experience, that is nothing short of amazing.
One of the concerns I had early on was the uncertainty that our older demographic would be lost in the online version. I think the numbers say otherwise.
- 21% of users are between 55-64
- 20% of users are between 25-34
- 19% of users are between 45-54
- 16% of users are older than 65
- 16% of users are between 35-44
- 8% of users are between 18-24

The relative even breakdown of users across all ages indicates to me all ages can find the online version useful.
60% of users are mobile
But the current website does not cater to this audience
If you have tried to use the online version of the Treasure Hunt on mobile, I’m sure you have been disappointed. I have. PDFs were never meant to be used online. In the new design, we will come from a mobile first perspective and I think users will find this much more enjoyable.
Treasure Hunt is a highly targeted captive audience
Focused advertising for local businesses and classified users

The graph says it all. This is a highly focused, regional audience.
The top 10 cities are Phillipsburg, Philadelphia, Easton, Hackettstown, New York, Newark, Bethlehem, Palmer Heights and Middle Town. The 10th city is unknown because not all users allow you to gather this information.
3,500 Active 28-day Users
Loyal users
Users of the Treasure Hunt come back, week after week. As an advertiser, that gives you the chance to remind users that your business is the best business in the area.
For classified customers, you know you have a large pool of community users seeing your ad each week.
